Deborah L. Ewers has held leadership positions in higher education, social services, and counseling. Her goal has always been to help people create new pathways and to become more self-assured. Her positions have taken her to the states of Louisiana, Georgia, and Ohio. She has been called a trailblazer for her keen acumen and innovative ideas. Deborah is from New Orleans, LA, where she graduated from McDonogh High School, one of the premier high schools in the state. Deborah earned her BA degree with honors from Dillard University and her MSW degree from Tulane University. She has received certifications from agencies and organizations for further study. A proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, she has served as the campus adviser for the undergraduate chapter at Dillard and she continues to serve on committees for the graduate chapter in New Orleans. She is the recipient of the 50-year service award for meritorious contributions to the sorority.
