Southwest Airlines, I AM a Golfer Foundation Announce Partnership Goals with Cedar Crest Golf Course

Representatives from Cedar Crest Golf Course, Southwest Airlines, I AM a Golfer Foundation, and City of Dallas Parks Department announced their partnership, shared goals and dedication to Southern Dallas and the surrounding communities at a press conference held at the Cedar Crest Golf Course, Friday. Southwest Airlines will showcase Cedar Crest Golf Course, as the first of its kind and one of a kind. They are inviting the top 50 Black collegiate golfers in the country to compete in the nationally televised tournament in the spring of 2023.

Speakers at the event were Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson, Mayor Pro Tem Carolyn King Arnold, Park Board President Arun Agarwal, former Dallas Mayors Tom Leppert and Mike Rawlings, co-founder and Chairman of I AM a Golfer Foundation Dave Ridley, Chief Commercial Officer and Executive Vice President of Southwest Airlines Ryan Green, Trinity Harris, a teen from I AM a Golfer Foundation, and Director of Golf at Cedar Crest Golf Course Ira Molayo, PGA.
