Wednesday was not only Game 3 of the 2024 NBA Finals, it was also the 13th anniversary of the Dallas Mavericks winning its first – and still only – NBA championship.
The Mavericks beat the Miam Heat i in Game 6 of the 2011 NBA Finals on June 12, 2011.

To commemorate the occasion, several of the teammates attended Game 3 together to cheer on this new generation of Mavericks. Among those attending were Dirk Nowitzki, JJ Barea, Shawn “The Matrix” Marion, Brian Cardinal and more.

“It was truly special. So much love for those guys. We have a bond,” said Marion before Game 3 of his 2011 teammates.
