OBIT: Lois Delane Coleman (October 22, 1945 — January 9, 2025)

LOIS DELANE COLEMAN

LOIS DELANE COLEMAN, born on October 22, 1945, in Waco, Texas, peacefully departed this life on January 9, 2025, in Dallas, Texas. A cherished member of her family, Lois, was known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love.

Throughout her life, she impacted the lives of many, not just through her familial connections but also through her expansive network of friends and loved ones. She is survived by her devoted husband, Lloyd Coleman, and her beloved daughter, Stacee Youngblood. In addition, she leaves behind siblings, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends who will forever hold her memory dear.

In celebration of her life and to honor her memory, a viewing will be held on January 17, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. A funeral service to commemorate her life will follow on January 18, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, situated at 4545 Vandervort Dr, Dallas, TX 75216. Lois will find her final resting place during the burial ceremony on January 21, 2025, at 1:00 PM, which will take place at Laurel Land Memorial Park (Dallas), located at 6000 S R L Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75232.

As we remember Lois Delane Coleman, we celebrate the rich legacy she leaves behind, defined by the love she shared and the lives she touched. Her spirit will forever be cherished by all who knew her.
