Freddie Mae James, a beacon of love and light, bid farewell to this world on April 24, 2024, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever glow in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know her.

Born on March 5, 1939, Freddie Mae’s journey through life was defined by her unwavering love and kindness. Her presence radiated warmth, her care touched countless souls, and her bright smile could illuminate even the darkest of days. She filled the world around her with goodness and compassion, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed her path.

Freddie Mae’s interests were as vibrant as her spirit. She found joy in dancing, a reflection of the rhythm and grace with which she lived her life. Listening to blues music was a favorite pastime, soothing her soul and resonating with the deep emotions she carried within. She also found solace in watching “Walker” and “Heat of the Night”, immersing herself in captivating stories that mirrored the complexities of human nature.

As family and friends gather to honor Freddie Mae’s life, a Prayer Service will be held at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas on May 2, 2024, starting at 6:00 PM. The following day, May 3rd, a Funeral Service will take place at Ebenezer Memorial Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas at 11:30 AM.

Freddie Mae James is survived by her loving family members and friends who will continue to carry her legacy with them. Though she may have departed from this earthly realm, her memory will live on through the love she shared so abundantly during her time among us.

In honoring Freddie Mae James today, we celebrate a life well-lived—a life marked by love, kindness, and an enduring light that will never fade. May she rest in peace knowing that she made this world a brighter place for having been a part of it.
