Donald Ray Tasby, born in Dallas, Texas on June 29, 1952, has sadly passed away in his hometown on April 23, 2024. He was a remarkable individual who led a life full of passion and laughter.

Donald will be remembered as a champion boxer who exceled in the ring with dedication and skill. His love for sports extended beyond his own endeavors, as he found joy in watching various athletic competitions. Those who knew him well can attest to his playful nature and his ability to bring smiles to the faces of those around him through his lighthearted jokes.

He leaves behind a legacy that will be forever cherished by his surviving family members and friends. The upcoming services to honor Donald’s life will take place at the Golden Gate Funeral Home and A Crematory in Dallas, Texas. A viewing is scheduled for May 8, 2024, starting at 12:00 PM and ending at 7:00 PM. The funeral service will be held the following day, May 9, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

Although he may no longer be with us, his spirit lives on in the memories shared by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Donald Ray Tasby’s presence will be greatly missed, but his impact will continue to inspire those whose lives he touched. May he rest in peace.
