Billy Ray Wesley, a dedicated general laborer, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2024, in Dallas, Texas, at 78. Born on September 20, 1946, in Monroe, Louisiana, Billy enjoyed a life characterized by hard work, resilience, and a deep love for family.

Having graduated from high school, Billy ventured into a career that brought him fulfillment as he contributed to his community through various labor-intensive roles. Known for his strong work ethic and reliability, he earned the respect of his peers and played a meaningful role in the daily lives of those around him.

Billy is survived by his beloved siblings, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends who will cherish his memory and the moments spent together. His spirit and kindness will remain a guiding light for all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Services to celebrate Billy’s life include a viewing on October 11, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, followed by a funeral service on October 12, 2024, beginning at 11:00 AM. Both events will take place at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224.

Billy Ray Wesley’s legacy is one of love, dedication, and earnestness, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of calling him family or friend. May he rest in peace.
