Dallas businessman Albert C. Black Jr. joins the list of distinguished citizens who have schools named in their honor in the City.
W.W. Bushman Elementary School at 4200 Bonnie View Road, has been named Albert C. Black Elementary School.
Raised in South East Dallas, grew up in the Frazier Courts Housing Projects and went on to attend college at UT then on to SMU and UTD. He is the CEO and chairman of On Target Supplies and Logistics, a company he founded almost 40 years ago. He is married to Gwyneith and they have three children. He served as the first African American chairman of the Dallas Regional Chamber and he is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fratermity, Inc.
