Jarvis Christian College in Hawkins, Texas has established an African-African History Museum. The new museum, located in the Olin Learning and Resource Center on campus features the Rodney Lamar Atkins Collection. “Life in American: 1900-1979” includes more than 200 pieces, including items from Negro League baseball, figurines, rare photos, farming equipment, and kitchen utensils relating to African American life in the early twentieth century.
