Former First Lady Rosalynn Carter, dies at 96

Rosalynn Carter is remembered as a humanitarian who championed mental health issues and strongly supported/advised her husband, President Jimmy Carter, during his term; has died, at 96.

The 39th First Lady of the United States, Eleanor Rosalynn Smith Carter was born in Plains, GA on August 18, 1927. She died on November 19, 2023; two days after the announcement that she had entered hospice care.
