WHAT
The Deep Eddy Vodka Celebrity Pickleball Showdown returns to the Lapiplasty Pickleball World Championships, headlined by Dallas Mavericks legends and Naismith Basketball Hall of Famers Dirk Nowitzki and Jason Kidd. Other celebrities participating include Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receiver Terrell Owens, NFL MVP running back Adrian Peterson, former NFL wide receiver Golden Tate, former NBA player Kris Humphries, tennis champion John Isner and social media creator Jenna Bandy.
The marquee event will take place on Championship Court at Brookhaven Country Club, on the evening of Thursday, Nov. 7. View the full week-long event schedule here.
Prior to the Celebrity Showdown, the PPA Tour will host media availability and Happy Hour starting at 6 p.m. Signature Deep Eddy cocktails and Eataly light bites will be available.

WHY
The 2024 Lapiplasty Pickleball World Championships returns to North Texas November 3-10 at Brookhaven Country Club. As the fastest growing sport in America with more than 36.5 million players, pickleball will take center stage in Dallas-Fort Worth as the world’s top professional pickleball players compete for the world title, coinciding with an on-site amateur tournament open to the public.
Last year, Brookhaven Country Club welcomed more than 50,000 fans and 3,500 competitors from 49 states, bringing an estimated $14 million in economic impact to the region.
