The Dallas Alumnae chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. recently hosted a Red Carpet Affair featuring the movie, RESPECT and the guest of honor was Dallas native Skye Dakota Turner.
An established actress, who has appeared on Broadway, Miss Turner plays a young Aretha Franklin in RESPECT.
Adhering to social distancing guidelines, there was a packed house at Studio Movie Grill in Arlington, as Delta Chapter President Dr. Andrea Hilburn welcomed Miss Turner and saluted her for her portrayal of Delta Sigma Theta’s honorary member, the Queen of Soul, Ms. Franklin.
