“All residents of the City of Dallas are entitled to a safe and healthy place to live. Property owners should make this a priority. However, if landlords fail to keep tenants safe and healthy, the City has tools requiring property owners to comply with minimum property standards. To that end, the Community Prosecution Section of the City Attorney’s Office has opened a case to investigate the conditions at the Arterra Apartments at 2755 E. Ledbetter Blvd. If the property owner does not take immediate action to address ongoing code violations, the City Attorney’s Office is prepared to take all enforcement actions necessary, including litigation.”
