Seagoville High School P-TECH wants their student body to obtain internships so they are preparing them through mock job interviews and writing sessions.
P-Tech has a partnership with Accenture Dallas, a company that helps businesses with technology and 28 P-Tech students are involved in their program.
Deanna Naugles, local market lead for Accenture, said she is grateful for the help of the students as she allows interns to receive hands-on training in the areas of marketing and consulting.
“They aspire to do great things, they are eager to learn, they have grit, and they want more for their lives than society has labeled for them,” Naugles said. “I am humbled to stand in the gap to further position them for success.”
