Red One movie amps up the holiday

Let me start by saying this movie is NOT for the little ones. Please leave them at home. Red One, with its star cast featuring Dwayne Johnson, Chris Evans, Lucy Liu and J.K. Simmons, is a holiday movie that takes viewers on a sleigh ride like no other.
From Ho, Ho, Ho, to Oh, Oh, Oh exhausted! Once the action gets going, it becomes non-stop. Visual effects provide thrills as mythological and technological worlds collide.
Character Jack O’Malley, a critic of Saint Nick since childhood, unknowingly aids hackers into accessing Red One’s universe. His longtime naughtiness exposes so much more, putting Christmas at a dangerous risk. It then takes him and Dwayne Johnson’s character, Callum Drift, to save the holiday of importance to so many.
In the midst of over-the-top special effects, there are times of laughter, mostly adult humor, and tender moments that will have you reflecting on your own childhood memories about Santa.
It’s a fun twist on the holidays that’s out of this world. Rated PG-13, I repeat, leave the little ones at home for this one. Red One hits theaters Friday, November 15.
