Fudge with additional special guests for a virtual House Party to emphasize the agency’s commitment to helping young adults achieve their dreams of owning a home. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is proud to serve as a champion for this event and encourages you to participate!
We know people across the country, especially young adults and individuals from communities of color, are feeling discouraged when considering homeownership. Factors like credit history, student debt, and down payment savings are obstructing the path to owning a home, especially for low-to-moderate-income borrowers and potential first-time homebuyers. But, there is hope!
This event will highlight the resources available to aspiring homebuyers, bust common myths and assumptions, and depict real-life success stories. Ultimately, Secretary Fudge and HUD hope people will feel encouraged and equipped when beginning their homebuying journey.
