Two men were arrested in connection to a shooting late Saturday that killed two teens and injured two other people outside a house party in Garland, police said.

Garland police responded about 11:45 p.m. to the 800 block of Magnolia Drive, near North Glenbrook Drive and West Walnut Street, where a disturbance on the street escalated to gunfire.

Police said Jose Damian Garcia, 18, of Greenville was pronounced dead by first responders, and a 17-year-old boy from Garland, who was not named, was taken to a hospital and died. Two others injured by gunfire were stable Sunday, according to a news release.

Two men — Jesus Saldana, 21, of Garland and Christopher Torres, 22, of Arlington — were arrested in connection to the fatal shooting and were being held in the Garland Detention Center. It is unclear if the men have attorneys.

Saldana and Torres each face a murder charge, and their bail has not yet been set, according to the news release.

Police said an investigation is ongoing and anyone with information about the case may call Garland police at 972-485-4840.
