Numbers that great for a first-ever event in Dallas are worth taking notice. Attendees were extremely happy to be outside, dancing and singing to artists Amerie, Mariah the Scientist, The Mexican OT, The Dream, Jeezy, Latto and many others. The final performer of the evening was well-anticipated headliner Lil Wayne, who ended each song in his set by saying, “Thank you.”

The crowd stayed committed in the Texas heat; packed in for performances and lined up for good eats from various food vendors. They appeared to be well-fed and full of excitement from the experience which organizers say festival attendance was heavily influenced by influencers, bloggers and more. Non-traditional advertising, social and digital means to organically draw people in had a huge benefit.

The TwoGether Land Festival has come and gone. Pulling that many people together for an inaugural event was an amazing feat and proof-positive that so much can be accomplished if we work together. Dallas and the entire metroplex were hungry for a musical offering of this magnitude and we’re all the better for it.
