Velinda Michele Johnson, born on April 17, 1948, peacefully passed away on September 24, 2024. A devoted member of her community, Velinda leaves behind an enduring legacy of warmth and kindness that touched the lives of those who knew her.

Velinda’s life will be commemorated through a series of services held in her honor. A viewing will take place on October 18, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home and Cremation, located at 5701 East Loop 820 South, Fort Worth, TX 76119. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and celebrate her life during this time.

The funeral service will follow on October 19, 2024, beginning at 11:00 AM at the same location. This gathering will provide an opportunity for all to reflect on her impactful life and share cherished memories.

Finally, Velinda will be laid to rest at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery on October 22, 2024, at 2:00 PM. The cemetery is located at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211.
