Two Black Head Coaches in NBA Finals

For the second time in NBA history, two African American coaches will face off in the NBA Finals. The Dallas Mavericks head coach is Jason Kidd and the Boston Celtics head coach is Joe Mazzulla.

The last time two Black head coaches were in the NBA Finals was 1975 when Golden State’s Al Attles went up against Washington’s K.C. Jones.
